Photography in South Korea
Last month was rather busy, but I am happy to announce that Hye Jung and I tied the knot on April 21st, 2018. It's taken some time to get back into the swing of things, but I'm able to finish May off with a post from a beautiful pine grove in South Korea.
Over the last few years, I've gone to this particular pine grove about 4 or 5 times. The key to this place (like a lot of places in Korea) is to go on a foggy morning to get the best atmosphere and also to block any buildings in the background. One of the reasons I keep coming back here is because of the unique shapes that the pine trees make. It creates for some interesting compositions. Every time I've come here the conditions are never the same, so even though I've been here before the light or the fog is going to make different effects.
These are some of my favorite images from here. A few of these I took some liberties with when I was editing them, but then again those aren't supposed to look realistic anyway. Thank you for following my adventures, and I hope that you enjoy my photos.
P.S. There is one film shot thrown in the mix here. Post a comment if you can spot the grain.
